The changing of the seasons feels more appropriately matched with a glass full of flavors like apple cider, pumpkin, and spices. Whether you fancy a classic hot toddy or fancy a tequila tipple, we’ve pulled together incredible recipes for autumn cocktails that will have you covered for every weekend of the best season of the year.
The Marguerite
Ingredients
1.5 oz 1800 Reposado tequila
1 oz of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
.5 oz Fino sherry
.5 oz maraschino liqueur
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled Old Fashioned glass. Top with soda water and garnish with a grapefruit twist.
Apple Hinny
Ingredients
1.5 oz Hangar 1 Straight Vodka
1 oz fresh green apple juice (Granny Smith recommended)
.5 oz lime juice
Ginger beer tp top
Instructions
Combine and serve over ice. Garnish with apple fan.
Caramel Apple Mule
Ingredients
1.5 oz Absolut vodka
.5 oz caramel
1 oz apple cider
Ginger beer, to top
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a wooden mug over ice, top with ginger beer. Garnish with apple fan.
The Harvest
Ingredients
1.5 oz cognac
.5 oz cinnamon syrup
1 large spoonful of apple butter or apple syrup
Instructions
Shake ingredients before pouring into a sophisticated coupe glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Autumn’s First Press
Ingredients
1 oz Plantation Rum Traditional Dark
1 oz Montreuil Calvados
.5 oz Michelberger Forest herbal liqueuer
.5 oz lemon oleo saccharum
.75 oz lemon juice
Rosemary sprig
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with rosemary sprig.
Kentucky Mulled Cider
Ingredients
1.25 oz Maker’s Mark Bourbon
Hot apple cider to top
Dash of allspice
Cinnamon stick
Lemon slice
Instructions
Add bourbon to a mug. Fill mug with hot apple cider and dash of allspice. Garnish with tall cinnamon stick and lemon slice.
Pumpkin White Russian
Ingredients
1 oz pumpkin spice Kahlua
2 oz vodka
1 oz heavy cream
Instructions
Combine Kahlua, vodka, and cream into glass over ice. Stir lightly.
